Health Science Clinicals learned about the various jobs available in Lab Services while visiting the MUSC PULSE program in March. Students were able to tour the labs and see how different types of lab testing were processed.

Law Enforcement Services 2 students recently completed their Traffic Accident Investigation unit. Their unit concluded with a group project that demonstrated one of the unit's main objectives: the multiple points of impact during a traffic accident. The students also received a brief from an active law enforcement officer, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Bill Murphy, on how to respond to traffic accidents. A big shout out goes to the LCSD Career Center Firefighter instructor Mr. Sam Plyler for demonstrating and talking with the Law Enforcement students about the Jaws of Life tools firefighters use on vehicles at accidents to extract people safely from vehicles. Such a great team at the LCSD Career Center!
