In EMS 1 and EMS 2 class, students are learning important airway skills to treat patients with breathing difficulties or who are unable to maintain their own airways. They are practicing supraglottic airways using the King airway and iGel devices.

Lancaster County School District will be testing the employee Centegix Crisis Alert Badge system next week. The tests are scheduled to be held before/after school hours, but we do realize there may be students in the building. When the badges are tested, there will be extra lighting sensors. Emergency Services (911) are aware of the testing schedule, but they may dispatch resulting in emergency personnel/vehicles may be present at school drop off/dismissal. We do not want you to be alarmed. The schedule can be found below.

Eighth grade tours continued this week with Buford Middle School visiting! The 8th graders had the opportunity to tour the school and learn more about the programs we offer! We hope many of these students will join the Career Center family during their high school years!

They are the heartbeat of the 8th grade tours as well as parent night events! They will help out throughout the school year with any events the Career Center hosts! Law Enforcement Students recently completed their Crime Scene Investigation Unit. Hand-on skills included Crime Scene Processing and Sketching; Evidence Collection; Multiple Methods of Searching; along with Crime Scene Documentation. A great 1st half of the semester!
